The History

I’m a passionate hairdresser with a penchant for detail. I’ve been a licensed stylist since September of 2011 and got my start in Illinois after moving from my small hometown in Indiana to attend cosmetology school. I worked in an upscale salon where I was provided with continuing education in a number of services. I moved from Illinois to Southern California at the beginning of 2015 to pursue my Valley Girl Hairdresser dreams. Since 2015, I helped to establish another salon in two areas and was trained as an educator for a hair brand, furthering my knowledge behind the chair. In July of 2020 I decided to finally open my own studio to provide a more intimate, exclusive, and personal space for my clients to enjoy their services in.

Evocateur is the French translation for evocative. This name reflects my passion for creating comfortable and relaxed salon experiences that leave clients feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to take on their day.

The Philosophy

My approach behind the chair prioritizes healthy hair that provides longevity between salon services. A focus on classically beautiful colors and silhouettes with modern detail leaves clients with always-in-style hair that stands the test of time. Your appointment should be something you look forward to experiencing rather than an obligation or chore.

The Artistry

Utilizing French inspired techniques while cutting and coloring allows for a softer grow out and increased longevity. Proper color and care products maintain the health and vibrancy of your hair to keep you looking salon fresh long after your appointment. With an eye for detail and a passion for technical understanding, I’m able to help find simple solutions to often frustrating styling concerns.
